A rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts cooked in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. Perfect for a comforting dinner that’s easy to prepare and full of savory goodness.

Ingredients

Scale

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium and add the unsalted butter to the skillet.
Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
Simmer for 3-5 minutes to allow the chicken to absorb the flavors and the sauce to thicken slightly.
Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the chicken and sauce before serving.
