A quick and easy recipe for perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful salmon fillets using an air fryer. This method produces crispy edges and a moist interior in just minutes.
2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides of each salmon fillet with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
Cook the salmon fillets in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Carefully remove the salmon fillets from the air fryer and transfer to serving plates.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the salmon.
