A quick and delicious air fryer salmon recipe glazed with a sweet and savory honey soy sauce. Perfectly cooked salmon with a sticky, flavorful sauce that pairs well with rice or steamed vegetables.
2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds, for garnish
1 green onion, thinly sliced, for garnish
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper to make the honey soy sauce.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and brush both sides with olive oil.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
Air fry the salmon at 400°F (200°C) for 6 minutes.
After 6 minutes, carefully brush the honey soy sauce generously over the salmon fillets.
Continue cooking for another 6 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the salmon from the air fryer and spoon any remaining honey soy sauce over the top.
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onion before serving.
