Ingredients

Scale

2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon zest, finely grated
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, black pepper, kosher salt, and garlic powder.
Brush the olive oil and seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Remove the salmon from the air fryer and drizzle fresh lemon juice over the top before serving.
