Close-up of crock pot beef noodle casserole with creamy sauce and beef chunks

A comforting and hearty crock pot beef noodle casserole made with tender ground beef, egg noodles, cheese, and a creamy tomato sauce, slow-cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 ounces wide egg noodles, uncooked
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is softened, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
In the crock pot, combine the cooked beef mixture, tomato sauce, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
Add the uncooked egg noodles to the crock pot and stir to evenly distribute them in the sauce mixture.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4 hours, stirring once halfway through cooking to prevent noodles from sticking.
About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole. Cover and cook until the cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy your crock pot beef noodle casserole.
