Crispy deep-fried salmon cubes coated in a spicy, sweet bang bang sauce, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 cup cornstarch for coating
Vegetable oil for frying
1/4 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
1 teaspoon lime juice
2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
Toss salmon cubes in cornstarch until evenly coated; shake off excess.
Carefully deep-fry salmon cubes in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
Remove salmon bites and drain on paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice to make the bang bang sauce.
Arrange salmon bites in a circular pattern on a white round plate.
Drizzle bang bang sauce over the salmon bites.
Garnish with thinly sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
