A quick and easy one pot creamy garlic pasta that’s rich, flavorful, and perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner. Made with simple ingredients, this dish combines tender pasta with a luscious garlic cream sauce all cooked in one pot for minimal cleanup.
12 ounces uncooked fettuccine pasta
4 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 cup whole milk
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
In a large pot or deep skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
Pour in the chicken broth and whole milk, then add the uncooked fettuccine pasta.
Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, about 12-15 minutes.
Remove the pot from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the pasta and gently toss to combine.
Serve immediately while hot.
