Tender ground beef sautéed with garlic and soy sauce, served in crisp green cabbage leaves and garnished with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes.
1 lb Ground beef
1 medium Green cabbage (leaves separated and washed)
3 Garlic cloves (minced)
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Sesame oil
3 Green onions (sliced)
1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
Stir in soy sauce and red pepper flakes; cook for an additional 2 minutes to combine flavors.
Meanwhile, blanch cabbage leaves in boiling water for 1-2 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp; drain well.
To serve, spoon the beef mixture into the cabbage leaves formed as bowls.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Serve immediately while warm.
