A vibrant bowl featuring tender pan-seared salmon fillet coated in a sticky honey glaze, served on fluffy jasmine rice with crisp steamed broccoli, creamy avocado, and garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

Ingredients

Salmon fillet (6 oz)
Honey (2 tbsp)
Soy sauce (1 tbsp)
Garlic (1 clove, minced)
Cooked jasmine rice (1 cup)
Steamed broccoli florets (1/2 cup)
Sliced avocado (1/4 cup)
Sesame seeds (1 tsp)
Chopped green onions (1 tbsp)

Instructions

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create the honey glaze.
Place the salmon fillet in the hot pan, skin-side down if skin-on, and cook for about 4 minutes.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 3 minutes, spooning honey glaze over the fillet as it cooks until the glaze is sticky and the salmon is tender.
In a serving bowl, place the cooked jasmine rice as the base.
Arrange steamed broccoli florets on one side of the rice.
Fan sliced avocado next to the broccoli.
Place the glazed salmon fillet atop the rice.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the salmon to finish.
