Slow Cooker Chicken Ranch

A creamy and flavorful slow cooker chicken ranch recipe that’s perfect for an easy weeknight dinner. Tender chicken breasts cooked in a savory ranch sauce with cream cheese and cheddar cheese, served over rice or pasta.

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
8 ounces cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer.
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken breasts.
Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper over the chicken.
Pour the chicken broth over the chicken breasts.
Distribute the cream cheese cubes evenly on top of the chicken.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and cover again until the cheese melts.
Carefully remove the chicken breasts and shred them using two forks, then stir the shredded chicken into the creamy sauce in the slow cooker.
Serve the chicken ranch over cooked rice, pasta, or your preferred side.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
