Chewy chocolate chip cookies with slightly crisp edges, loaded with semi-sweet chocolate chips and baked to golden perfection.
2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup Granulated sugar
3/4 cup Brown sugar, packed
2 large Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just combined.
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly.
Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden and centers look set but soft.
Remove from oven and let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Stack cooled cookies neatly on a round white ceramic plate for serving.
