Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground skinless chicken breast
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
1 large egg white
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken breast, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, whole wheat breadcrumbs, and egg white.
Add salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried oregano to the mixture. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 3 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 6 to 7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the patties are golden brown.
Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for 2 minutes before serving.
