1 pound large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon water
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Cooking spray
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a shallow bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper.
In a second shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and water until well blended.
In a third shallow bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, paprika, and garlic powder.
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
Dredge each shrimp first in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
Dip the shrimp into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
Coat the shrimp in the seasoned panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Place the breaded shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the shrimp lightly with cooking spray.
Cook the shrimp in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and serve immediately.
