Ingredients

Scale

1 pound (450g) lean beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
1 medium yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 medium carrot, julienned
1 cup broccoli florets
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup low-sodium beef broth
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet. Add garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the cooked beef to the skillet and pour in the beef broth. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry and toss to coat evenly.
Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
