1 pound ground beef
1 medium yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons tomato paste
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks, about 5 minutes.
Drain excess fat from the cooked ground beef and transfer it to the crock pot.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the crock pot with the ground beef.
Pour in the diced tomatoes with their juice, tomato sauce, and beef broth.
Stir in the tomato paste, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, and crushed red pepper flakes until well combined.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours.
