A delightful and easy-to-make vanilla cake trifle layered with creamy vanilla pudding, fresh berries, and whipped cream. Perfect for parties and special occasions.
1 pre-made vanilla cake, cut into 1-inch cubes (about 8 cups)
2 cups vanilla pudding, prepared and chilled
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh raspberries
In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
Using an electric mixer, whip the cream mixture on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
In a large trifle bowl or clear glass bowl, place a layer of vanilla cake cubes covering the bottom.
Spread one-third of the chilled vanilla pudding evenly over the cake layer.
Add a layer of mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) over the pudding.
Spread one-third of the whipped cream over the berries.
Repeat the layering process two more times: cake cubes, vanilla pudding, berries, and whipped cream.
Finish with a final layer of whipped cream on top and garnish with a few fresh berries for decoration.
Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
