Pan-seared salmon with crispy skin, topped with a spicy creamy bang bang sauce, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Ingredients

Salmon fillet (6 oz, skin on)
Mayonnaise (2 tablespoons)
Sriracha sauce (1 tablespoon)
Honey (1 teaspoon)
Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
Lime juice (1 teaspoon)
Salt (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
Vegetable oil (1 tablespoon)
Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, honey, garlic powder, and lime juice to create the bang bang sauce. Set aside.
Pat the salmon fillet dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Place salmon fillet skin-side down in the pan and sear for about 6-7 minutes until the skin is crispy and the salmon is cooked about two-thirds of the way through.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
Transfer salmon to a white round plate, skin-side down.
Drizzle the bang bang sauce evenly over the top of the salmon.
Garnish with finely chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
